keb.mfa has been working in the field of editing, web management and design for more than five years. Her areas of expertise include writing and editing for the web and print, innovation within predesigned web templates, photography, and print design. She is comfortable working with minimal supervision, managing her own deadlines, and recognizing higher priority assignments.

She is currently working towards a Master of Fine Arts in studio art with a post-baccalaureate certificate in interactive media design. Practical studio work focuses on the integration of fine-art photography, time-lapse photography, video, and simulation design in virtual wolds. Supporting research focuses on the art of food and anthropology of food, including history of food in art and media, and the power and politics of food and food culture.

In her spare time, keb.mfa works as a freelance sports photographer; as the Baltimore Restaurant Photography Examiner for examiner.com; and as a contributor to the seeds section of in the cactus garden, a website celebrating anthropology, food, and creative writing.
